A man has been sentenced after being found in possession of a knife and drugs in Norwich. Isaac King, 19, of Ryefield Road, Mulbarton, was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday 24 September after previously pleading guilty to possession of a knife in a public place and possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drug, namely cocaine. The sentence follows an incident on 25 July 2026 when King was arrested for an unrelated offence on Stepping Lane, Norwich. During a search, officers discovered a large knife concealed in his waistband, along with a quantity of cocaine packaged in sealed bags with an estimated street value of approximately £3,696. Following his arrest, King was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and was subsequently charged. During his appearance at Norwich Crown Court, he was sentenced to two years imprisonment and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £187. In addition, he was handed a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). The order includes conditions prohibiting him from contacting, directly or indirectly, four named associates, wearing a balaclava or other face covering, entering Norwich (as defined by the outer ring road), and possessing more than one mobile phone.
